Properly done, an accessible page will do what is needed for people with disabilities, and not be noticed bu the general population Something to keep in mind is that most disabilities come in *degrees* - so although you may not have many totally blind people visiting your website, you quite likely have a lot of older people who's vision isn't as good as when they were young - and proper font/color choices will help those people as well, even though they aren't "disabled" (My personal pet peeve - CSS sheets that set the text of input fields to "black", without bothering to check if maybe I have a light-on-dark theme set by default. So their forced black ends up on my dark blue background and becomes unreadable. the ability for people to access the web? especially directed at people who are color blind or deaf. like umm you know how those where for example in register forms you have them type the words in the box security thing well if people have acute vision or problems seeing it right they can hear the audio. and some websites have contrasting colours so people can see better the text written on it. also some websites have option to increase text size and everything. and maybe websites are easy to use and friendly? for people who dont know or arent techno savvy or dont know how to use the computer some websites are user friendly and have big buttons so people know what their doing.
